Resolve Sleep Health

The Challenge:
Resolve Sleep Health was one of the fastest-growing companies in Canadian healthcare, and almost nobody knew it. Through a string of acquisitions, the company had built a national network of sleep clinics, all under female leadership in a sector where that is still rare. But the growth was happening quietly. Resolve had the results of a market leader and the profile of a regional operator.
The Approach
Awards programs are earned media with a scoring rubric. I saw Canada’s Top Growing Companies as a chance to tell Resolve’s story to a national business audience, with the credibility of independent judges behind it.
I wrote the submission the way I’d pitch a feature story, leading with the two things that made Resolve different:
The growth story: Resolve doubled its revenue in three years, reaching $75M to $100M in 2025. A focused acquisition strategy brought regional sleep brands together under one national banner and turned a quiet operator into a sector leader.
The leadership story: a woman-led company scaling fast in healthcare, where female leadership at the top is still the exception.
The numbers made Resolve a contender. The leadership story made the company worth remembering.
The Result
Resolve Sleep Health was named one of Canada’s Top Growing Companies for 2026, ranking No. 256 on the list. The recognition gave the company national credibility in its sector and a third-party endorsement it could use with partners, acquisition targets, and future hires.
The Learning
Growth alone doesn’t build a reputation; someone has to tell the story. A well-written award submission is one of the most efficient visibility tools available to a scaling company, because the credibility is borrowed from the judges, not bought.
